A legal team needed assistance in understanding the events surrounding a large data breach from a Canadian company to prepare a class-action lawsuit. DeepCode performed extensive research using webpage archives, social media, legal cases and online reporting to generate a fact-based timeline of the events with references. This timeline and resources were then used to generate potential scenarios for the data breach event to request further information from the defendant. Once the procedure was approved, we combed social media to locate potential individuals to join the class-action lawsuit.
